Advanced Technical Fluency Program

For Non-Technical Executives and Entrepreneurs

Technical Fluency is the ability to work on high-level technical problems and contribute value in conversations with engineers, without the need for deep domain expertise.

I like to be upfront that this is a sales page. No gimmicks.

If you could greatly benefit from the course I teach, I’ll encourage you to schedule a 20 minute call with me to move forward.

If we decide it’s not for you, I’ll just give you my honest advice on how you could learn on your own.

Moreover, before you consider buying the course, I recommend you read this free essay.

Why Technical Fluency?

As a non-technical professional, you’ve probably felt a “disconnect” while working with engineers, or reading about new technological developments.

Becoming technical will help you close this gap. It will empower you to:

  • Confidently participate in high-level technical discussions – never feel like a “lost” bystander in such meetings.

  • Strategize technically and be a driver of transformation in your industry, not a passive observer.
  • Sell effectively to technical decision makers. Build real credibility and trust.

  • Unleash valuable insights from your background that engineers are probably missing.

  • Hire and manage engineers more effectively.

  • Become the go-to person for bridging the tech and non-tech gap in your organization.

  • Unlock new opportunities throughout life and never feel “left behind”.

Regardless of which industry you’re in, change is coming. I want you to lead and thrive in the future.

Build intuition by learning concepts, not buzzwords
Practice systems-thinking and architecture skills
Confidently engage in technical discussions

Meet your instructor

Hi I’m Aman. As an engineer I have worked on self-driving trucks, computer vision for robot assistants, and AI-enabled brain-computer interfaces. Besides that, I was a B2B sales executive for two tech startups both worth >$1 billion.

I’ve received worldwide recognition for my teaching. My essays explaining cutting-edge AI technologies to non-engineers have been widely discussed in the media, and I’ve given guest lectures on AI to fine arts students in Japan. I have a Masters degree in Systems Engineering from Cornell University, USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the time commitment?
The program will take between 1.5 – 2.5 months, depending on your pace. Ideally you will spend around 5-6 hours per week. The course is heavy on practical exercises so don’t expect to binge-watch it!

Will I learn to code?
No. Coding skills are secondary to technical intuition. If you are really interested, I will give you the bare basics you’ll need.

What is the learning experience like?
Most of the work will be done by you (you can’t become “fluent” just by passively consuming lectures). Expect to do a lot of reading, brainstorming, and talking. I follow the principle of “i+1“: the rigor will be just enough to be exciting, but not overwhelming.

How will I access the course?
It will be on Google Classroom. I will release the learning material (lectures, quizzes, assignments) on a weekly basis on the class homepage. We will also schedule 1-2 live video sessions per week. You won’t need to download any software for the course.

Can I get a discount?
It’s a fair price and it includes direct access to me, so I can’t give discounts. Consider asking your employer to sponsor you. In any case, you can read all of my >4000 word essays for free through my Medium page. Feel free to email me for advice.

For educational institutions and non-profits, I may consider giving a free guest lecture.

Can I get training for my whole team?
Yes. Please use the same link above to schedule a meeting.
